Hi, welcome to the MUS 4433 website! Click the arrow down here for an overview of this course.
This semester MUS 4433 will cover multimedia for the web, i.e. how to create awesome websites.
We'll be using Adobe's newest CC 2014 pro apps to create websites and media-rich content.
Instruction is any time, anywhere--but you'll want to use our newly upgraded music/media lab.
ANY TIME?! That's right--no rigid class schedule (although there are project completion dates).
ANYWHERE?! Yes! Instruction is delivered to any computer from our virtual campus, the CAMP.
The CAMP is just steps from anywhere at UTSA. It was made for teaching multimedia online.
The CAMP features a spacious lecture hall for delivering design and psychology concepts.
But the CAMP also boasts a professional video production studio for teaching video concepts.
Our teachers produce all of their instructional videos at the CAMP's video studio.
We teach basic audio production techniques in the CAMP's smaller sound studio,..
.. and we teach advanced audio and recording techniques in the CAMP's large studio.
We show you how to use media development apps from any of our 24 post-production suites.
But, remember... You can learn all these concepts anywhere, any time, with almost any hardware.
And you can practice using the apps we teach in our well-equipped UTSA Music/Media lab.
You can capture your media in any location using any video or audio device--even a smartphone!
In this class you'll use text, photos, video, sound, graphics, and animation to convey MOOD, and...
...you'll also use these media to tell a STORY-- better than it can be told in words alone.
Yes, the course is fun, but our students are SERIOUS about: 1) professionalism and 2) creativity!
So, if you're serious about learning multimedia production for the web, join us. Enroll today...
