Command v = paste selection
Command d = duplicate selected item
Command f = open the file finder application
Command w = close currently active window
Command Option w = close all open windows
Command n (within an application) = make a new window in application
Command n (in the finder) = make a new finder window
Command Shift n (in the finder) = make a new folder
Command i = get information
Command tab = cycle to next running application
Command . (period) = cancel whatever process is happening
Command Option Escape = force-quit an unresponsive application
Command Control Eject = warm reboot a frozen computer
Command Shift 3 = take picture of entire screen (saves on desktop as “Picture #”
Command Shift 4 = take picture of rectangular area of screen that you define
Command ? = open Mac help
