I am Meghan Alyssa Barker. I grew up three miles from Acuna, Mexico in Del Rio, Texas. I am the youngest of four children. This May, I will graduate with a major in Music and a minor in Spanish. I recently got married to my childhood love of 13 years!!! Some of my talents/hobbies include singing, dancing, acting, playing the piano, and playing the guitar. I speak Spanish and am an American Sign Language interpreter for the deaf. I enjoy playing sports and riding horses as well. After graduating, I plan to have a Christian music ministry in South America and/or the United States. I currently lead worship every week in an all-Spanish service at Community Bible Church. There is a possibility that my husband, brother, friend, and I will start up a school in Argentina in December. The plan would be to teach Spanish to English speakers and English to Spanish speakers. Something that sums me up pretty well is that I love life, but I love my God, family, and friends more than life!
