Lynda Escobedo

My name is Lynda Escobedo and I am freshman at UTSA. I graduated from Smithson Valley High. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx. My major is business. Specifically, I want to be a CPA and have a minor in business administration. I plan to upon up a firm of CPAs. I am not a music major but music is my life! I was in choir for six years and have played the piano for three years. I plan to join the UTSA women's choir. I am taking this music course for fun.

I model on the side for fun to promote photographers' businesses. I work for my brothers' construction company as a secretary. I love to travel! I just went to South America for a month and a half. I visited Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Ecuador. After visiting Brazil I was inspired to learn Portuguese as my fourth language. I am fluent in English and Spanish and studied French for three years. I love to learn about different cultures and get to know different people. That is why I love college life because I have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world without having to travel.
