William Mills

Hello, my name is William Mills. I was born in Harlingen, Texas in 1986 but I have been living in San Antonio for the last few years while I attend UTSA. I'm a Computer Science major going for a concentration in Computer and Information Security as well as a concentration in Software Engineering. Currently, I'm familiar with the Java and C programming languages. I am also working on getting the Certificate in Music Technology.

I have an active interest in recording and mixing and a modest familiarity with Pro Tools, Audacity, FL Studio, Sonar, and GarageBand. I like all kinds of music, from rap to classic rock, Wu-Tang Clan to Radiohead, but my favorite genre has always been hip-hop.

In my spare time I like to write songs and poems, play guitar, play chess, exercise, and of course read. I hope to work either for a music software company or as a system administrator/network security expert. Either way I plan to continue to improve my project studio and operate a small non-serious recording/mixing business/hobby on the side.
